Engaging Infants - An Intro To Infant Mental Health

The Infant Child Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (ICY AMHWS) at The Royal Children’s Hospital offers a
two-day introduction to training in Infant Mental Health annually.
Teaching faculty lead by Associate Professor Campbell Paul draws on multidisciplinary team of expert Infant Mental Health clinicians.
The training aims to introduce clinicians to:
• The theoretical and practical foundations of infant mental health.
• Observing, engaging and assessing infants.
• Understanding common presenting problems in infancy.
• Case formulation and approaches in intervention.
