We are delighted to kick off 2024 with a fascinating presentation by Alison Cook on the use of sensory modulation in babies.

The Presenter
Alison Cook is an Occupational therapist with over 30 years experience in mental health and has a Master’s degree in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. She has worked in mental health services in the UK and Australia and has spent the last 15 years or so working in a number of perinatal and infant mental health settings. She is currently the National Clinical Lead for ForWhen, a new national Government funded navigation service linking parents in the perinatal period to mental health supports. Alison has a special interest in the use of sensory modulation strategies for parents in the perinatal period and has found it to be particularly useful working with parents with trauma and emotional dysregulation issues.
