ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for a crucial event that shines a light on one of society's most pressing yet often overlooked issues: the impact of family violence on our most vulnerable—babies and infants. Featuring renowned experts in the field, this event will delve deep into the unseen scars left by family violence and coercive control on infant mental health.

This day will be of interest to social workers, psychologists, lawyers, doctors, caseworkers, counsellors, support workers, policy makers and advocates working with, and interested in understanding, supporting and changing the future for these families through our collective work.

THE PRESENTERS
We have been fortunate to secure the involvement of three leaders in this field.

Award-winning investigative journalist Jess Hill will unravel the complex web of coercive control, while

Dr. Wendy Bunston, a leading authority on infant mental health, will explore the profound and lasting effects of family violence on our youngest minds.

Sarah Milson-Mahy from Women's Legal Service will guide us through recent family law legislation changes, empowering attendees with vital knowledge to protect and advocate for vulnerable families.
